OZZIE BEARS PEEWEE B TRAVEL 2008-2009 Thank you for your
interest in the Ozzie Ice Peewee Travel-B team program. This team will be
affiliated with Ozzie Ice and guided by the coaching staff of Head Coach Steve
Sutton and Doug Cannon. The purpose of this
team will be to provide a hockey environment that develops a player’s skill
level and knowledge of the game with an emphasize on fun, hard work and a
positive attitude. The team will be
enrolled (required) in the Fall 3-on-3 season at Ozzie Ice and can then
continue (optional) to participate through the Spring of 2009. The team will
practice once to twice a week at Ozzie Ice in addition to full sheet practices
based upon availability. The goal is to be on the ice 3 to 4 times per week
during the season. Pre-season training will begin in the late summer to
concentrate on conditioning, stick handling, power skating and team concepts.
